TECHNORGANIC"I'm a machine, you're a machine, and we're alive."--Short Circuit
TECHNORGANIC is a series of images made combining elements of collage, photography, and sumi-e (traditional ink & wash painting). Only number 12 has received any sort of digital enhancement (a simple photo-negative filter and title text). The photographs used are deliberately low-res cameraphone snapshots of disused machinery and various textiles.
Each piece measures approximately 8.25 x 5 inches using 33% cotton fiber watercolor paper from Moleskine sketchbooks.
